What is Export L/C Advising & Confirmation?
After you have closed your deal and are expecting your buyer to give you an Export L/C, you need a bank to receive the L/C for you. Upon receipt of the L/C, the bank will check the authenticity of the L/C and advise the arrival of your L/C accordingly.
By asking the Bank to add its Confirmation to your L/C, the Confirmation Bank guarantees payment to you when the Issuing Bank fails to pay you on time. You will have double protection in receiving your payment!
